### May 25, 1948 – August 18, 2026

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Brian George Cunningham in his 78th year. Surrounded by his family, Brian passed peacefully in the early morning hours of August 18, 2026\. Brian was a loved father to Jonathan, Jeffrey, Jacklyn, Joshua and Sylvia Cunningham, a loved Grandfather to Liam, Lily, Sydney, Sammi, Rya and Taya Cunningham, a cherished partner to the mother of his children Marian Little, a beloved brother to Sandi and Guy Guenard, and an adored uncle to Jacqui, Noel and Zander Brown. In his early years Brian was an adventurous outdoorsman with a passion for fishing and hunting. Throughout his life he developed a deep connection with Manitoulin Island, which later became the place his passions and love for the outdoors would be shared and passed down to his family and friends. Brian put down roots on the Island in 1990 when he purchased a 100 acre farm on Perivale Rd. He always said that some of his most happy memories were made there. In his later years, physical challenges grounded him, but his adventurous spirit and desire to leave a lasting legacy to his family only grew. In 2020, he established the 4J’s Hunt Camp on Manitoulin Island, a place where memories will continue to be made, and his adventurous spirit can once again run free. Keep an extra rod in the boat, and a seat in the stand, dad…. One day we will see you again.
