Firefighters for Food Cupboard

gb-fire-food23 — Firefighters for Food Cupboard Members of the Gore Bay Volunteer Fire Department presented this large donation of non-perishable food items to the Western Manitoulin Food Cupboard at the Lyons Memorial United Church, this past Sunday. Firefighters had held two food collection events recently, with members of the public graciously donating the food items and personal hygiene items along with a total of $623.50 in cash towards the Food Cupboard. “This was our second annual food drive held for the food cupboard, and we were very appreciative for the tremendous support of the community,” said Gore Bay Fire Chief Mike Addison.
