MANITOWANING—All ages, cameras and abilities are invited to get their creative juices flowing at the Photowalk on June 25 in Manitowaning.

Seasonal resident, Jan Heastont is a photographer and ambassador for Lensbaby, a camera lens company. Ms. Heastont participated in a photowalk in Hamilton in April and enjoyed it so much she has brought the walk to Manitoulin.

Ms. Heastont encourages those interested to register at the link in the events section of What’s Doin on the Manitoulin on Facebook.

Then “just show up with your camera” at the Assiginack Public Library at 25 Spragge Street in Manitowaning, at 2:30 pm on June 25. The walk will end at 4 pm in front of the library.

Participants will go on a photographic treasure hunt, get some swag from Lensbaby and have a chance to submit your photo to a Lensbaby competition.

The Manitoulin Expositor wants to see your photos too and encourages everyone to send them to editor@manitoulin.com.
