    Position: Bail Verification and Supervision Program worker
    Location: UCCMM Tribal Council – M’Chigeeng First Nation
    Duration: Full-time permanent (pending funding and 3-month probation period)

    The UCCMM Justice Program is an Anishinaabe Community Justice Program. Under the direct supervision of the Justice Manager, the Bail Verification and Supervision Program (BVSP) worker delivers services to people accused of criminal offences facing the possibility of detention in custody while their criminal charges are dealt with through the criminal court process. The BVSP is based on the presumption of innocence before conviction and the fair and equitable treatment of all accused people regardless of social and economic background. Services are provided to members of the UCCMM First Nations and the non-
    Indigenous population in the District of Manitoulin 16 years old and up.

    Remuneration: $50,000 annually and benefits
