Gore Bay ladies’ night slated for November 17

GORE BAY—There will be plenty of gift giving ideas on the list to choose from, as Gore Bay’s annual ladies’ night celebration will be taking place Thursday, November 17.

“Pretty near all the businesses in town will be taking part,” said Kristy Carleton of Former Flame Consignments. “We have a total of 21 vendors-businesses that have signed up.”

Ms. Carleton explained every business will be providing an incentive for the evening, such as a free gift with purchase, or door prizes, and discounts.

At Former Flame, for example, Ms. Carleton will be giving away a pair of gold earrings as a door prize.

And along with all ladies, “we are encouraging all men to come out and visit the stores as well.”

Participating businesses include Loco Beanz, Former Flame Consignment, The Source, Jaguar Spirit, Robertson’s IDA, Split Rail Brewery, Twice as Nice, Stepping Stone Toys, Codmothers, Woods Brothers, M and R Jewelry, It Works, Island goods, Life’s Simplest Pleasures, Central Pharmacy, Royal Canadian Legion, Susan’s Upcycled Glass and Quintina’s.

You can visit all 21 participating businesses for goodies, treats and surprises on Thursday, November 17 from 6 to 9 pm.
