Letter: Happiness expressed with possible changes to organ donations

We should all be considered donors unless we choose to opt out

To the Expositor:

I am happy to hear that there is (at last) some possibility of action at Queen’s Park with regards to the great need for organ donations here in Ontario. Apparently, there is now talk of changing the current system so that we would all be considered as potential donors when we pass on unless we deliberately choose to opt out. Such an approach makes great sense and would, I believe, benefit many who are desperately in need of an organ transplant. The sooner such a change is made, the better!
