Les Granville was down to Peterborough to visit his daughter Lesley Kerckhoff and family.

The municipal street sweepers were in town and swept up all the sidewalks and then the roadways of all the sand that had been spread out over the winter. It sure cleans up the village. It’s so nice to see all the green grass growing and the buds on the trees almost appearing to grow before your eyes.

The fishermen have been having good luck catching rainbow trout. It’s been a beautiful spring and we hope that all the April showers will bring us May flowers.

We wish a speedy recovery to Stuart Pearson who had surgery on his foot and is recovering at home.
