Sudbury Break & Enter

Members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service are currently investigating a report of a residential break and enter in the area of Lasalle Boulevard in New Sudbury. The incident in question occurred during the late evening hours of Monday May 1st 2018. The suspect entered an unlocked home while the resident was present and fled before being identified. Police are reminding home owners to secure residences to prevent becoming a victim crime. Prevention measures include:

 Close blinds and curtains at night

 Lock doors particularly at night even when your home is occupied

 Close and lock windows before leaving your home

 When you are away for long periods of time make your home appear inhabited by seeking assistance of a trusted neighbour to pick up mail and to care for your property in your absence
