This week was definitely a memorable one for the halls of MSS.

This Monday our Grade 11 and 12s headed out for another fun week touring Algoma University and the Sault Ste. Marie College. But for the first time I wasn’t jealous of them being away Monday and Tuesday because Elliot Lake came down for a basketball tournament!

On Tuesday, our senior and junior teams played hard in their games against Elliot Lake. I didn’t hear much about the stats, but they put in great effort and made it to the next games.

Tuesday was also exciting for our business students, who were taking part in an Accounting Case Study Competition in Sudbury. Where they had to solve a real-life business problem’s and share their ideas with the judges

Back to sports, Wednesday our junior and senior girls’ volleyball teams were on the road for their games. The junior girls had a strong day, coming home with two wins and two losses. The senior girls also played hard throughout their matches, keeping up the energy and showing great teamwork against some tough competition.

On Thursday, the boys’ basketball team were back on the courts for another round of games against Espanola high school.
