Many people are wondering what is going on in Matthew Garniss’ building (the old McDermid’s Home Hardware). He’s keeping us guessing by keeping the windows papered over. The excitement is building as we all await the new businesses to town. If interested in finding out if there are still units and booths for rent, you can reach him at matthew.garniss@gmail.com
Dawn Young is a resilient young lady that is battling with Type 1 Diabetes. She will soon be heading to London, Ontario for a kidney and pancreas transplant. Her friend and stepsister, Gayle Payette, is selling 50/50 raffle tickets to help with some of the costs. One ticket is $10 or three for $25. She can be reached on Facebook by email at gaylepayette@gmail.com or call her at 705-368-6434. We wish Dawn all the best.

Our mysterious snow blower was back out on the boardwalk keeping it open for the walkers. Thank you for that.
The upcoming forecast looks good for all the maple syrup makers as they prepare for the final drips of the season. It’s a great time to be spent in the beautiful outdoors with family and friends.
Condolences go out to the family of Robert “Bob” Sandberg. He was a seasonal resident when he was the previous owner of the current Providence House. He was the original owner and operator of the Weed Man franchise.
