What is your dog thinking about when they look at you so intently with those big eyes and wagging tail? Alexandra Horowitz has written a bestseller entitled, ‘Inside of a Dog: What Dogs See, Smell and Know.’ Horowitz is a cognitive scientist and she discloses how dogs understand the world and the beings around them. There are answers to questions like: How does a tiny dog manage to play successfully with a Great Dane? Why must a person on a bicycle be chased? What is it like to use your mouth as a hand? This book explains these things and so much more. Some of the answers are quite amazing. The book contains extensive down-to-earth advice for canine enthusiasts. Probably your best chance to know more about your dog and dogs in general.

‘Disasters of Ontario: 75 Stories of Courage and Chaos’ by Rene Biberstein contains the personal stories of those who were involved in some of the worst accidents that have occurred in this province.
