A very public thank you for positive attitude, friendliness and advice
To the Expositor:
As a very strong believer in free speech, I support the right of both recent authors of letters to the editor in this paper to express their opinions with regards to their experiences at Providence Bay Marina. I wish to express mine.
A friend, my son and I are very new to salmon fishing. We knew next to nothing about it. In the last month we have tried this fishing three times out of Providence Bay Marina, the last time quite successfully. Without the generous help and guidance from Ken Niles, Harbour Master at Providence Bay, I don’t think we would have been successful at all.
Ken went to great lengths to help us with the equipment, how, and where to fish for salmon. His positive attitude, friendliness and advice were incredibly valuable to us.
So publicly Ken, on behalf of our group, I say thank you.
