OTTAWA—A Zhiibaahaasing First Nation band member was very satisfied with her performance at a body building/fitness competition held recently.
“The federation for this competition is the Canadian Physique Alliance, and this was a regional show that took place in Ottawa—the 2019 GNC/All Max Ottawa championship,” Celina Cada-Matasawagon wrote in an email to the Recorder on December 7. 

“Just to help you understand that I was the only one who was competing in fitness and this was only my third time competing in this type of event,” said Ms. Cada-Matasawagon. “Overall I felt great about my performance and it was a great accomplishment to bring both my culture and fitness to the stage.”
