MINDEMOYA—The Dave McDermid rink has won the annual Mindemoya mixed curling bonspiel held this past weekend.

Mr. McDermid’s rink also included Bev McDermid, Doug King and Cathy King. Runner-up in the first event was the Rueben Allen rink which included Joanne Mellan, Rob Mellan and Sharon Allen.

The second event saw the Jack White rink defeat the Eric Ruediger rink in the final. The White rink included Ellen Holroyd, Angus and Pat MacDonald. Mr. Ruediger’s rink included Muriel and Barry Wall and Susan Flynn.

The Oliver Koski rink which included Laurie Beaudin, Adrien Patoine and Darlene Korolewich was first in the third event. The runner-up was the Jeff Gilmore rink which included Lee Anne Wiseman, Chris Lewis and Cynthia Lewis.

The annual mixed bonspiel included 16 rinks. Live music was provided Friday and Saturday, with Larry Karn and Jeff Gilmore.
