Letter: Government is working from home—why are kids in school?

The government needs to smarten up and send its employees back to work in their offices

To the Expositor:

Kids are going back to school, so now what about the government employees? Are they going back to work in their offices too? Every time I try to do something with the government I’m being told the employees are working from home. If the government employees are not back at work in their offices, then how come kids are going back to school? Is the government just using them as bait to see if they can end up catching the coronavirus?

I’m having so much trouble trying to get something done that has to do with the government. Nothing is being done, nothing is getting through, just causing delays. Then the government will blame me for that because when they are making mistakes—that’s what the government does.

The government needs to smarten up and send its employees back to work in their offices, just like what you are doing with the kids. If the kids have to go back to school, then they need to work in their offices too and start dealing with the citizens in person instead of trying to hide like a bunch of cowards.
