What a great way to showcase Manitoulin

To the Expositor:

A big thank you goes out to our ever present OPP that have supported this annual fundraising ride with great presence for the past eight years. The Owen Sound Transportation Company’s wonderful partnership from inception. MTO’s collaboration and issuing of event permits and EMS’s presence, as well as the acknowledgement of all Municipalities involved.

Partnering with so many of our accommodations is a wonderful thing and our volunteers need a special thank you as well.

In the past four years combined, MICA’s two-day ride has brought in $360,000 to Manitoulin’s early June economy.

Volunteer organizations like the Central Manitoulin Lions Club, the Tehkummah Triangle Club, various local bands, individual musicians, restaurants, accommodations, municipal facilities, galleries, souvenir shops and MICA, a not for profit volunteer organization, have benefited from this great annual economic stimuli event. We wish to thank our participants whole heartedly, that have come from as far away as Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Quebec, Alberta, and from all over Ontario. What a great way to showcase Manitoulin to our silently rolling visitors. Thank you all for making this a great event and we are looking forward to seeing you again next year.
