WIKWEMIKONG—Jacob (Kenneth) Elias Shigwadja of Wikwemikong died following a fall from the back of a skidder on October 31. Mr. Shigwadja was 57.

According to police officials, the cause of death has been determined to have been massive trauma to the body.

Mr. Shigwadja was the father of four children and grandfather of four grandchildren.

Few details had been released regarding the accident, which is still under investigation. The Ministry of Labour, Coroners Office and the Wikwemikong Police Service are assisting with the accident investigation.
