M’CHIGEENG—On Tuesday, September 2, the Share/Go Green committee at Manitoulin Secondary School (MSS) presented Manitoulin Family Resources (MFR) with a $1,000 donation. Director of Manitoulin Family Resources Marnie Brown received the donation from the group to recognize MFR for taking action in the community.

On May 25, Josh Noble, Denver Leeson, Ms. Bauer, Ms. Wilson and Ms. Jones participated in the Telus workshop, Give Where You Live. In that workshop the group identified an action plan that included making a difference in the local community by supporting the food bank and the shelter. After the workshop, the group applied for a donation to support the MFR and help create a brighter future for all children.
