BIG CHEESE—Dean Moss holds his arms in air after cracking a 36.4 kilogram (about 80 pound) Parmigiano Reggiano (cheese) wheel at Dean’s Valu-Mart in Gore Bay this past Saturday. The local store was among 400 Loblaws grocery stores vying to set a new Guinness World Record for the most Parmigiano Reggiano wheels (1,800) cracked simultaneously across Canada stores. Mr. Moss, who is shown in photo with several store employees, expertly cracked the cheese ring in less than three minutes.
