Island Vibes offering up summer fun in Kagawong

KAGAWONG—A new Kagawong business has opened just in time for warmer weather to provide all customers going to the beach or enjoying time on the water everything they need to have fun.

“We have just about everything for people to have fun at the beach and on the water,” stated Deanna Hardy, who has partnered with Autumn Pegelo to open Island Vibes Aqua Adventures recreational water sport rentals and retail, located in the Austin Hunt Marina this summer.

For the business partners, opening this business is something they have had in mind for some time now. “It has been on our bucket list for a while,” said Ms. Hardy.

Ms. Pegelo explained, “about three years ago I was saying to Deanna, ‘wouldn’t it be really nice if we could rent out paddle boats?’”

“We will be providing aqua related rentals like kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, kayaks, (floating tubes) and more,” said Ms. Hardy.
“And customers can come in and browse our retail store to purchase all their beach day needs like fishing tackle, beach towels, water guns and beach toys.”

“We’re right on the water and in a super location,” stated Ms. Pegelo.

The business will be open from 10 am to 8 pm Monday to Sunday, and more information on the business can be found on Facebook or by calling 705-210-0325 or 705-210-0224.

Island Vibes Aqua Adventures, which held its grand opening last weekend, will be open until the end of September.
