RIGHT AT HOME—Father and son Lyle and Johannes Renecker, right to left, have moved to their new farm in Tehkummah on the Blue Jay Creek. The farm will be named Palace Hillside Farm after the multi-generational Perth County farm where Lyle was raised. The tractor is significant as well: it’s a Case 2090 that Lyle and his late father Alfred purchased new in 1984 and has also made the move to the Island with the rest of the family. Lyle found the farm last fall after running an ad in The Expositor.
