Unsettling to know the current American culture has evil intent towards Canadians
To the Expositor:
Your editorial “Betrayal! The hardest stab comes from behind” (February 5, Page 4) really said it all. It is very much a sentiment that all Canadians must share.
However, the good people of Manitoulin Island, specifically Little Current, have the opportunity to let Americans know how everyone feels. A large number of pleasure craft, yachts and cruisers from the USA, tie up at the Little Current docks each summer. How about charging them a 25 percent surcharge along with a message to send them home to really straighten out Donald Trump and his henchmen?
As a frequent visitor to Manitoulin Island I no longer feel comfortable knowing that the visitors from the USA carry the current American culture, that has evil intent towards Canadians, in their minds and malice in their hearts. They really need to get the message.
