The Gore Bay Bruins Under 18 hockey team were crowned 2025 champions of the Manitoulin Minor Hockey Association. The team included Corbin Best, Cody Campbell, Jackson Chevrette, Hailey Hawke, Kaci Lariviere, Liam Lariviere, Rylan Lock, Ryder Lockyer, Tessa Merrylees, Kyle Nodecker, Greyson Orford, Amy Smith, Alexandra Wilson-Zegil, Amara Wilson-Zegil, Ethan Witty, coach Joel Lock, assistant coach Clayton Best, manager Erin Lariviere, trainer Michael Zegil, dressing room monitor Chantelle Wilson and on-ice volunteer Aiden Case.
