MANITOWANING—The Suzanne Jackson rink finished in first place at the Assiginack Curling Club annual ladies’ bonspiel held February 28 to March 1.
A total of 12 teams took part in the bonspiel. The Suzanne Jackson team, which included Sherri Loutitt, Patti Purvis and Carmen Bertrand took first place overall. Finishing in second place was the Barb Sheppard rink which included Joan Sheppard, Christianna Jones, Jacinta Manitowabi. In third place was the Bev McDermid, Angela Johnston, Maddy and Heather Niven rink. Fourth place was Kathy Grant’s team of Loretta Fox, Gloria Thompson and Maureen Peltier.
Ladies dressed Saturday evening during ‘The Grammys’ themed bonspiel. Some great entertainment was provided with karaoke!
