JOSEPH DREW AELICK
January 24, 1983 – June 4, 2025
Drew’s journey began in Little Current on January 24, 1983. Beloved son of Wayne Aelick and Bonnie Aelick; brother to Mark and Kurtis. In his younger years Drew enjoyed boating, skiing, ATVing, camp life at Maple Point and family vacations. Most of Drew’s life was on Manitoulin with short times in Barrie, Kitchener and Sault Ste Marie – he was a true Haweater. Like most of us, Drew had his own demons to struggle with, but he had finally found a good path and was moving forward when illness took him from us on June 4, 2025; he is finally at peace. Forever loved and missed by Wayne and Anna, Bonnie, Mark and April, Cole and Brooke, Myles, Landon, Sawyer, Hudson, Kurtis and Gloria, Violet, Griffin, Roslyn, Tanya, Chris, Kelly and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Interment will take place at Kagawong Cedars Cemetery on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 2 pm with a Celebration of Drew’s Life following. Donations can be made to Sick Children’s Hospital, Pet Save or a charity of your choice. Thank you to all who supported Drew in his journey.
