LLOYD VINCENT CORBIERE

April 5, 1961 – December 29, 2017
Lloyd Vincent Corbiere passed away peacefully on December 29, 2017 at the Mindemoya Hospital in his 56th year. Born to Gina Corbiere and Joe Corbiere (Predeceased). Predeceased by his true love Cecilia Neganiwina. Loving father of Junior Neganiwina and Jerry Size. Beloved brother of Audrey Roy, Linda Owl (predeceased), Susan Corbiere, Justin Corbiere (predeceased), Mike (Pooch) Corbiere, Jackie Mynott and Joseph (Little Joe) Corbiere. Lloyd recently reunited with his two long-lost sisters. Will be sadly missed by his niece Pamela Roy who has lovingly cared for him. Lloyd will be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and long-time friends. Lloyd loved working in the woods. He was a true lumberjack at heart, and for most of his life this is where you would find him. Lloyd spent the last of his years surrounded by friends at the Wellness Centre. He enjoyed going on trips especially with his niece Pam and his mom to Espanola where he always made sure to stop for a Chinese food supper – and sometimes took a little bit extra home in his pocket. More recently, Lloyd discovered a passion for refurbishing furniture which he took great pride in. Lloyd also loved to help local elders with their firewood. He was often found to be doing odd jobs and had a knack for fixing things and making things with the help of his great imagination. “I’m A One Woman Man” If you told me that you love me, I would feel so proud. If you’d let me hold you, honey, I’d holler out loud. I’ll never love another even if I can. Come to me, baby, I’m a one woman man. Refrain: Won’t you let me, baby, just to kind of hang around? I’ll always love you, honey, and I’ll never let you down. I’ll never love another even if I can. Well, come to me, baby. I’m a one woman man. I’d climb the highest mountain, if it reached a bigger sky To prove that I love you, I’d jump off and fly. I’d even swim the ocean, from shore to shore To prove that I love you, Just a little bit more. Refrain If you told me that you love me, I would feel so proud. If you’d let me hold you, honey, I’d holler out loud. I’ll never love another, even if I can. Come to me, baby, I’m a one woman man. Refrain Come to me baby I’m a one woman man… Record your thoughts, memories and photos at www.islandfuneralhome.ca.
