M’CHIGEENG—Three Manitoulin Secondary School (MSS) Mustangs tennis team members travelled to the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations championships June 2-3 at Sobey’s Stadium (National Tennis Centre at York University) and L’Amoreaux Tennis Club, representing the Island well.
Mustangs competing included Aspen Debassige, Emery Watson and Ava Corbiere. Aspen and Emery came away with a winning record of three wins, two losses. They lost in the quarter-finals of the consolation round of girls doubles, the best ever finish by an MSS tennis team at OFSAA.
