TEHKUMMAH—The “Hollands Heroes” team, led by Angie Moggy of Tehkummah, raised a substantial amount while taking part in the 12th annual Epilepsy Seize the Day fundraising walk held in September.
“Everything was really good, we had nice weather and everything went really well,” Ms. Moggy told The Expositor last week. “We had between 20-25 of our family members take part in the 2.5 kilometre walk. As a team we raised $9,600.”
As was reported previously, 18-month-old Holland Moggy has epilepsy, and in an effort to raise funds and awareness toward research and to help other families who children have epilepsy, Angie Moggy and her family took part in the Epilepsy Seize the Day fundraising walk held September 28 in London, Ontario.
“My little granddaughter Holland Moggy, whose parents are Corey and Marissa, has epilepsy. She has one older sister, Willa,” said Angie Moggy.
