Gore Bay councillor resigns seat — Terry Olmstead

GORE BAY—Former Gore Bay town councillor Terry Olmstead says having to resign from council is bittersweet.

“I hate to go, I love Gore Bay and the Island, and it has been a real pleasure for my wife Roseanne and our family to live in Gore Bay all these years,” said Mr. Olmstead, who officially announced his resignation from council at a meeting last week.

“I have enjoyed my four years on council,” said Mr. Olmstead. “We have good people on council and we have accomplished quite a few things over the years.”
