MANITOULIN-NORTH SHORE—Manitoulin Northshore Victims Services (MNSV) is proud to celebrate 30 years of serving victims and survivors of crime, tragic circumstances and disaster throughout the Manitoulin and North Shore region.
“Thirty years is a big accomplishment,” stated Cynthia Stewart, executive director of MNSVS. “Over 30 years we have grown from a grass roots volunteer program to an agency that has five staff members and the original volunteer program.”
For three decades, MNNVS has provided 24/7 crisis support, practical assistance, information, and referrals to individuals and families experiencing some of the most difficult moments in their lives. Specialized services are available for victims and domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and criminal harassment. Services are delivered in partnership with local police and community agencies using a trauma-informed and inclusive approach.
