WIIKWEMKOONG—Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service (WTPS) is welcoming Anthony Kilburn as Staff Sergeant and the new divisional commander for the Support and Logistics Division.
WTPS Police Chief Ron Gignac says Staff Sergeant Kilburn brings more than 20 years of dedicated experience in law enforcement, including extensive leadership in community policing, officer training, and organizational development across Canada.
He added that Staff Sergeant Kilburn began his policing career over two decades ago and has since served in a wide range of frontline and leadership roles including criminal intelligence, investigations, and officer safety and training. Police Chief Gignac says Staff Sergeant Kilburn’s most recently held position was of Inspector with the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Police Service.
Originally from Alberta, Staff Sergeant Kilburn will be relocating to Manitoulin Island with his wife Jennifer and their two children.
