A hundred feet of snow (okay. maybe I’m exaggerating). Everyone was head to toe in winter gear. So now the countdown to winter break has finally begun, nine days, and yes, I was absolutely the one counting.
Meanwhile the lucky Grade 11a and 12s toured Canadore College in North Bay. From what I heard the tour was a blast! Students came back with tons of stories and now I can’t wait to check it out myself.
And then on Tuesday, the boys’ basketball team headed to Espanola for a look at how the tournament would run. By Thursday, they were giving it their all. Even though they didn’t come away with any wins, the effort was there, the energy was high, and the teamwork was amazing to watch.
Sadly, the boys’ basketball team didn’t make it in time for Festive Hat Day on Thursday.
For the 12 days before Christmas break, the school hosts fun activities such as karaoke in the café, Christmas movie day, and paint your own ornament day.
