MSO athletes to participate in provincials

MANITOULIN—Several members of the Manitoulin Special Olympics (MSO) team have been named to the 2017 Ontario Provincial Summer Games training squad.

The announcements were made recently by Ontario Special Olympics (OSO).

MSO athletes named to take part in the track and field championships include Matthew Bedard, Kelsey Mellan, Austin Featherstone, Mark Dokum, Yoshua Marsland and Andrew Splawnyk.

With more announcements to follow, more MSO athletes could be selected for the provincials as well.
