If enough people complain banks might reverse their decision
To the Expositor:
I received a letter from BMO today informing me that if my credit card wasn’t used in a year there would be a charge of $10. If you use your card regularly, you will not be impacted by this change.
It makes me wonder: are they not making enough profit? It also makes me wonder how they can do this. If you aren’t charging they will penalize you. I volunteer in an organization and look after their financials and I’m really disgusted that they charge to put money into their bank.
Where will it end? Maybe if enough people complain about this, they will reverse this decision but I really doubt it. One more way that business and government are “putting it to us.”
I hope everyone affected by this change will read their letter and take some course of action.
Thank you,
