View dismissive of residents’ struggling with affordable housing issues

Thanks to Ms. Steele-Giffin for taking Gore Bay Mayor Ron Lane to task for his misguided and short-sighted comment re. social housing (‘Reader dismayed. By Gore Bay mayor’s assertion, Page 4, September 17). There are certainly many folk who are in need of shelter and social housing helps fill that need. Count us as being in full support.
